Welcome from Dr. Edison

Hello,

My name is Dr. Crystal Edison and I’m the new owner of this wonderful eye care practice next to LensCrafters. I've renamed it Vision Quest Optometry Group to convey our ongoing quest for high quality care and patient experience . It’s a great honor to take over for an optometrist who has served her community so well over the last 30 years.

As Dr. Barghouti has stated in her letter, I’m a 2013 graduate of the Pacific University College of Optometry. I grew up in Hockinson, WA and remained local in our great Northwest area. After graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry, I also received specialty training focusing on primary eye care, as well as ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, as well as cataract and LASIK co-management. I’m an active member of both the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington. In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dog for walks, hiking, rock climbing, and trying out new restaurants throughout Portland and Vancouver with my husband.

I look forward to enhancing my involvement with this great community as well as getting acquainted and serving you and your family. I’ve worked with Dr. Barghouti, intermittently, at her practice since I graduated back in 2013, and have spent considerable time with her over the last several months in preparation for a smooth transition. I hope you will view me as a trusting eye care provider and will share my enthusiasm regarding the great changes that are being currently implemented.
