Our Services
Vision Quest Optometry Group provides comprehensive eye and vision care to patients of all ages in the Vancouver, WA area, offering in-depth eye exams, contact lens fittings, treatment and co-management of eye disease and eye testing that ensures whole body health.
-
Eye Exams
We offer complete eye exams that include preliminary testing of eye pressure, peripheral vision screening, color vision screening, retinal health, and a glasses prescription. We also offer a non-dilation option with Optomap to monitor the health of the back of your eyes.
-
Diabetic Eye Exams
We monitor the health of your eyes and co-manage with your primary care provider and endocrinologist to provide necessary ocular care. We do this by utilizing retinal imaging with Optomap to monitor for diabetic retinopathy, providing a full report to your diabetic care team.
-
Dry Eyes
Dry eyes result from a lack of moisture on the surface of the eye, often leading to discomfort, itching, and even excessive reflex tearing. We can help you manage and treat chronic and acute dry eyes with specific lifestyle recommendations, prescription eye drops, and in-office treatments as necessary.
-
Contact Lens Fittings
We can fit patients with a wide variety of soft contact lenses or rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses. Your doctor will go over the best options to fit your vision needs and lifestyle.
-
Cataract Co-Management
We diagnose and evaluate cataracts, as well as provide post-op care. We help our patients to care for their cataracts by co-managing their treatment with Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute.
-
Urgent Care
We are available to treat a wide variety of urgent medical issues including treatment of pink eye, sore eyes, red eyes, and removal of foreign objects.
-
Plaquenil Monitoring
We are able to provide an in-depth exam for those taking the auto-immune disease medication Plaquenil. We provide a full retinal examination, threshold visual field testing, and OCT scanning technology. A full report is provided to your rheumatologist.
-
Macular Degeneration
To care for patients with macular degeneration, we use OCT high resolution imaging technology. In cases requiring surgery, we co-manage with Retina Northwest.
-
Glaucoma
We help in treatment of glaucoma by using threshold visual field testing, OCT scanning of the nerve fiber layer and ganglion cell layers of the retina, and intra-ocular pressure measurement. We co-manage with Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, or Casey Eye Institute.
New to Contact Lenses?
The doctors and staff at Vision Quest Optometry Group will guide patients new to contact lenses through every step of the process. A thorough eye exam will be performed to determine prescription, followed by an evaluation to assess the best contact lens for the individual patient. Each patient will be educated on properly inserting, removing, cleaning and caring for their new contact lenses.
Please watch the videos below prior to your appointment for fitting your new contact lenses, and refer back to these videos as you acclimate to wearing contact lenses.
